autumn tablescape

Autumn is the season of gathering and nothing makes my heart more happy. as a new season approaches every year, i always think to myself, "ahh this is my favorite season!" - i just can't help but love the different things that come with each season! but Fall is truly so special. the crisp new air, the leaves changing to gorgeous colors, football games on for hubs, it's just a wonderful time of year. so as we approached Fall, i wanted to do a little backyard get together with a fun little table scape that would be festive outside.
i used a blank white tablecloth to keep a simple canvas but ran a blanket scarf across the middle as a runner to give it a festive feel. i have always paid $30 + for blanket scarfs at boutiques but i ordered this one from Amazon for $13 and it's literally the same material, length, everything! i layered the center with brass candle holders for the romantic touch and added a rattan basket filled with pumpkins just to add an obvious Fall look to it. i found these cute little white pumpkins at tj maxx.
i displayed a few moscow mule mugs with our autumn harvest punch (recipe here. sooooo delish.) because i loved the gold accents this time of year!
we had other amazing appy's the our friends made along with the charcuterie boards. i really can not do a party without at least one charcuterie plate. if i had to pick just one thing i could eat for the rest of my life, it would be just that, haha. i could literally live off of those things. YUM.
i also ventured out and actually tried to make something out of goat cheese which to my surprise turned out so good. i just spread some goat cheese on toasted crostini baguette slices, topped it with some fig jam and rosemary, and thats it! they were so yummy!
i can't wait for the weather to actually get cooler here so we can pull out the sweaters and do a fire pit get together next time!
what are some of y'alls Fall traditions?
